A2 Player vs. WinAmp 2.80

I have read reports that the latest version of the A2 Player sounds better
than WinAmp 2.80. Any opinions?

I installed A@ player since I was curious. I did not even play a
single tune with it though because it does not support any of the
non-mp3 sound file formats that I routinely play such as .mod, ,s3m,
.it, .xm, .669, .mtm, .mdz, .stm, .s3z, .itz, .mtm, and .ult

WA 2.80 has one of the BEST decoders available. Even if A2 is better it will
only be slight and most likely inaudible.

WinAmp is the best player overall. It does everything. However, if you
are a crazy audio guy and you want the highest quality audio, get an
older version of winamp. These older versions decode the mp3s
differently and it supposedly sounds much better. Go to
www.oldversion.com to get old versions of winamp and other programs.

That may be on mp3's n but it leaves out my 11,493 non-mp3 formatted
sound files....so IMHO A2 is screwed....

Do you have any suggestion which version would be for the crazy the
choice to get optimal audio qualilty?
