Opera 7.10 beta2 available

Hi all,

here's a new beta for you to test. We have tried to focus on some of the
most reported problems.

Please discuss this release in the opera.beta newsgroup, before submitting
bugs to our BTS (Bug Tracking System). We recommend that you not install it
over a current version of Opera.

Opera 7.1 for Windows has the following changelog:
 
* Do not show Startup Dialog on first run after install
* Implemented Link manager, replaces the old links in frame, not complete
* Access-key fix
* Do not show the empty frames if parsing of FRAMESET fails in XHTML
* "Suppress external embeds" available in Mail-View|Display-menu
* Fix missing content on amazon
* Fix for accepting lowercase only tags in XHTML
* Allow scripts in documents loaded from urls with untrusted content
* Let pressing Enter match an exact nickname in the Shift+F2 box.
* Set all mail columns to sizeable
* Fix for max connections settings
* Show minimized pages if pagebar is off
* Added 10000 visited history as option
* When copying notes,bookmarks, contacts, links: Also copy the most
interesting info to the system clipboard... (url for bookmark, email for
contact etc) if copying several items, separate with a linebreak
* Fixed bug 83017 (caption align)
* Some mouse focus fixes
* Fixed crash if inputmethods was used when f.ex. the form was submitted.
* PRE font size
* GetContentById, fixed so function returns FALSE when the id was not
found.
* Fix for shift clicking bookmarks
* Entering custom ALT codes work again
* Crash fix when entering empty stuff when editing gestures/shortcuts
* Added "off" option to memory cache
* Fix for closing minimized pages
* Fix for dragging to empty workspace
* Fix for importing of Internet Explorer bookmarks not taking subfolders
* Let Enter in flat/split mode onto folder be "enter folder"
* Focus fix for address field not inside document window
* F2 dialog remember previous
* Let Drag+Ctrl start a copy operation in the treeview, not
Drag+Ctrl+<maybe something else>

It was set up then it got deleted by accident or something, but the sysadms
are looking into it. Please try again after 30 mins or something :-)

How did you do that? Using either DAP, Total Commander, Opera 7.10b1 and
Mozilla there is no dir beta2 showing up.

The file was uploaded to the directory, but was deleted. We are working on
putting it up again. I do not know how it was deleted. Some problem with
the server I assume.

Changelog sure seems pretty impressing, ast beta 1 was released less than

All three issues I reported were fixed, and a lot of other ones too.
This is one of the reasons why I like Opera so much.

Already see several of my bugs addressed.

Thanks for the _speedy_ release of Beta-2. When OS gets going, it
really gets going.
