Canon 1D Discontinued?

I had a camera retailer tell me that the Canon EOS 1D is going to be
discontinued, Canon to make announcement in three weeks. Anyone else hear
this?

Yes,Canon confirms they will release the camera at PMA,or just before.

Complete with errors (I didn't look at the 1DII one, but neither
of the lenses' pages are error-free), which makes me wonder how
official these are.

Whatever Canon has up its sleeve, in any case, will be announced
soon.
