Enable Joystick in rtcw

Does anyone know how to enable a joystick for this game? Help me if you can

To enable the joystick open wolfconfig, or mp_wolfconfig in rtcw/main with
wordpad and add the lines :
seta in_joystick "1"
seta joy_threshold "0.60"

Adjust threshold for sensitivity. Use the joystick for movement and the
mouse for aim. DONT just use the joystick or you'll be toast ! This
combination is easier on the hands than the keyboard and works well.

u gotta be a dum ass to use a joystick in rtcw, its so fast paced

nothin better than the mouse and keyboard

Not so. I have used both and the joystick plus mouse is faster for me at
least. Remember that newer joysticks have multiple buttons which can
duplicate almost all the keyboard commands, and I bet I can switch between
them a hell of a lot faster than you ! Have you actually tried joystick plus
mouse for aim ?
