If you're talking about the tin of foie gras, chill it, open it, slice
the foie, spread it on toasted bread and eat it with a very chilled
Monbazillac or a Sauterne.

I have to agree with that. On the few times we have been able to afford it,
it's too delicious to muck about with. Have a bit of a job to wait for the
toast! If you're not too bothered, slice it thinly on fillet steak with
Madeira sauce, or cooked in Beef Wellington. Personally, I can't wait that
long.............

For those who queried it, ALF stands for Animal Liberation Front. I know
they are not the only people who are opposed to foie gras on the grounds
of the cruel way it is produced. In fact I used to be myself, until I
tasted foie gras that is. What a venal thing is greedy woman!
