Hello all,

I am trying to find a product that will track changes in Excel
spreadsheets. Specifically, I want to be able to track where cells are
moved to and from, mainly by named range row and column offset. For
example:

If I have a 4 X 12 matrix name mymatrix and cells(1,5) move to cells
(5,1) within the named range, I want to log that change.

The platform needs to be Excel 95 and open source so that I can
customize it. I have considered building an add-in to accomplish this
task, but if a product already exists in the market, I would rather not
spend the time developing this.

Any reccommendation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I have a workbook containing VBA code to compare two sheets in the same
workbook and highlight differences. This is not quite what you asked for
but if it's any use you are welcome to copy and adapt it.

Talking to myself again. I have just remembered that my Excel 97
workbook would not be readable in Excel 95 so I have saved it in Excel
95 format.

I think it may work in Excel 95 but I have no way to test it.

Thanks for the help Alan.

Although it does not work in 95 (the userform was missing), I think
that I will be able to use some of the code if I have to build this
myself.

Again, I appreciate your help.
