LUANNE:I am on cafergot which is garbage and I get 6 zomig per
month.My friend's Mom who recently passed away was a native andthey
get their medication free here.She was getting Imitrex and it worked
great.That is what I asked for but I was given Zomig which does not
work as well.Sometimes they send me zomig rapid melt which for some
reason does not work at all.If I'd have seen your post I would have
answered.I asked you about a certain medication a while ago that I
thought you may know about because of some side effects you said you
were experiencing.You did not answer me.I know it was not a topic for
alt but you brought up this side effect after someone posted something
against you.Also when things are as they are right now with that
disgusting webpage and it was done by a coward hiding behind a fake
name I am very leary when people are friendly that usually aren't.I
know you are friends with Ace of Spades as they themselves stated in a
post that YOU are the only one who knows everything about
them.Correct-remember that post?So you are friends with the person or
persons who made that page and are threatening to make a worse
one.They also bashed me for telling you about my son etc.And I am

Even Shan noted that Debbie has a hard time maneuvering on the ng. Many times,
I have told Debbie to look for something in a previous post but she can't find
it. I responded to her very kindly yesterday when she wrote about suffering a
migraine headache. It seems that if the only posts that she responds to
sometimes, as do you, are the angry and nasty posts. Whens someone posts
something kind, it's barely acknowledged.

Have you tried taking Zomig or Imitrex for migraines? That is why my
doctor
prescribes for mine when I get them. In a way, you're lucky. They
are
expensive meds but they are cheaper to buy in Canada. They knock a
migraine
right out, quickly!

you have, I have certainly missed it. Please re-post ANY and ALL

migraine post.I typed in your e mail address and nothing showed so i
did an advanced search with youe e mail and keyword Migraine.Then I
found it but it was the only one [the one I posted here] that you
posted to me.I am glad the zomig and Imitrex works for you but Imitrex
works for me but my quacky doctor guives me a prescription a month for
6 zomig which do not help half as much as ImitrexImitex takes it away
every time but not the zomig and 6 pills I find are not enough.Most of
the time it takes more than one dose to get rid of my
migraine.Cafergot isn't worth taking.I may as well take an aspirin so
don't ever bother paying for those things.I also get tylenol 3's but I
find they irritate my migraineif anything.My brother got some Excedrin
migraine pills I believe excedrin and he said they work great.However
here they are not available.My brother goes to Myrle Beach and Florida
for vacations during the year.So that was whe he tried the excedrin
migraine.Have you tried them?

Can you buy it over the counter in Canada or do you need a prescription? I get
mine from the VA but before that, I used to buy it in Tijuana when I lived in
San Diego. I could buy it over the counter there. Still expensive but about
the quarter of the cost of what it is in the US. Don't you have socialized
medicine there? I thought you did not have to pay for prescriptions in
Canada?? Almost makes me wish I lived there, especially after seeing the movie
"Bowling for Columbine."

Luanne: We need prescriptions.Only welfare and disability people get
"certain medications" for $2.00 a prescription.Alot of meds have been
taken off that list and I understand migraine meds have too.The Board
of Education does not have a drug plan.I never saw that movie.Sorry.

It was to the point that I wouldn't even get out of bed.. But there is a cheap
drug
and it is called amitriptyline.
This little sucker is a multi talented drug.
It helps with all sorts of medical problems.
I would ask your doctor.
My mother had a stroke and the doctor
prescribe it also. Depending on the doses
that you take, it really helps with the pain.
Also you take it before you go to bed
so you dont feel the affects. But once you
are on it for a few weeks your migraines should lesson.
The migraines that I would get, I would get the Aura kind and then the crushing
feeling of my skull, it was like my head was in a vice grip.. Just horrible.
But I do believe this little pill saved my
life.. Hope you check into this with your Doctor.
