I opened my AVP key files -- old and new version, with notebook in order
to see my expiration date. Now I see Windows has associated both keys
throughout my computer with Notebook. Did I screw up the keys by this
new association? Windows went through my directories and even changed
the backups to the Notebook association.

(Where is the sumbitch who told us how computers would make our lives
easier?)

Using Notebook to read/associate your AVP key does nothing to affect its
functioning.
