Hollywood worries about blacklisting because West Wing may be in trouble!

Call NBC and tell them what you think of Marty Sheen - the little commie.

LOL!

Geez, I would have thought the conservatives would have loved the show
where the prez has a terrorist assassinated.

The ratings are down because most people prefer brainwashing and
zoning out, not good, fast paced dialog with vocabulary and real
issues.

I've met Martin Sheen. He is a wonderful, principled person. Why do you
object, in a democracy, to someone having opinions that differ from yours?
And how can you remain a democratic nation if you try to have someone fired
for having differing political beliefs from you?

So because this is a democracy, I'm suppose to march in lockstep with
Sheen???? What drug are you on? Do you have any concept of the word
"democracy"? Guess what, slick? I'm free to disagree with

It's called 'voting with one's wallet'. The Left does it all the time. So
now when the shoe is on the other foot, you start screaming? Grow up.

Blacklisting is a FORM of free speech. So is yelling "shut up."
Zepp's amazing insight into the First Amendment is highlighted by his
brilliant discovery that it protects him against haters. LOL

Freedom of speech is not a guarantee of being heard.

"'electromagnetic force' is dwarfed by the electrostatic forces
present in the real universe" --Kurt Lochner

"The electromagnetic force is mediated by the exchange
of photons. This force includes the electrostatic force
with which we are familiar between charged particles as
well as magnetic forces."

So how does kurt explain electromagnetic force being dwarfed by
electrostatic forces when electrostatic force is part of the
electromagnetic force?

Answer: he can't.

He also can't explain how he got the physics
degree he claims to have when he doesn't even
know high school level physics.

<chuckle> Of course he's "allowed" to think whatever he wants, even
to voice those thoughts, but he has no guarantee not to be ignored
when he does it.

I ain't complaining. There's a difference in what is happening but not much
of one. For example, I would support a boycott of Rush Limbaugh's program
because he is the focus of the program. I would not support of boycott of a
Charleston Heston movie because the movie is a product of many people's
thoughts and ideas: Heston would be ancillary. So if the right wanted to
boycott Phil Donahue (almost everybody did anyway) I would have absolutely
no problem. But like I said, it isn't that much of a difference.

Better yet, sign the petition to tell all these Hollywood lefties to
shut up and stick to entertainment:

"We the undersigned American Citizens stand against Wealthy Hollywood
Celebrities abusing their status to speak for us. We do not believe that
they have a clear understanding of how we live, what we fear, and what
we support. We believe that celebrities Martin Sheen, Mike Farrell, Tim
Robbins, Rob Reiner, Barbara Streisand, and others with them are using
their celebrity to interfere with the defense of our country."

This isn't difficult - it can be expressed in a single sentence:

In the economic system called "capitalism", if no one's interested in
buying an entertainment product whose content expresses an actor's
political views, that product will not be marketed and the actor won't
be paid to participate in that product.

Should Mr. Sheen wish to express his political views on these Internet
news groups, I welcome his participation.

No comparison. Sheen isn't suffering from what other people say about
him, only what he says himself. As long as the idiot entertainers
make unpopular noises in areas they know nothing about, they risk
becoming unpopular.

Of course. And he must accept the consequences of getting his anti-American
spewings on the six o'clock news. He needs the American people more than
the American people need him. When he insists upon pissing off the viewing
public, he should have nothing to complain about when TWW ratings tank.

Sorry but there are no commies any more. The USSR and all its
tenticles went bye bye years ago. Just ask those republican
presidents who took credit for it. If in fact they are still around
then we have a Bush and Reagan who are liars!!
