Myanmar Goverment's website (http://www.gov.mm) got hacked by a hacker
gorup supporting ABFSU.

The site, which currently can be view from a number of country shows
the potrait of student leader Min Ko Naing.

Actually Myanmar Government never has "www.GOV.mm" or "www.gov.mm". It is
meaningless. It Myanmar Government has it should be "www.myanmar.gov.mm" or
something like this. That is my personal opinion.

Nevertheless some of the so-called Burma Activists created a webpage outside
Myanmar ( most propably in New York area) with the URL "http://www.gov.mm" and
posted their propaganda in SCB. Here is how their created web page can be

I thought most countries control their own domain names (eg. .sg, .uk
etc).
It would seem that Myanmar's .mm is not controlled by Myanmar Govt but
some private party ? It could be because I recall a private company
which helped Myanmar govt establish internet once claimed it
registered .mm in its own name. Perhaps Mr. Okkar or someone
knowledgable could confirm this ?
