Another rambling newbie/lurker post . . .

Hi! I'm a friend of Jessica McGeary (another recent starting poster
on this fine board), and, after sloshing through a lot (heavens, not ALL of
them) of the back posts, I feel qualified to post.
I guess that the whole name thing isn't an issue with us: as far as
I know, students at This Fine University (Case Western Reserve University,
to be exact) aren't allowed to change their names or ids or anything such as
that. Oh, well. I've never been afraid to make opinions well known.
Currently, philosophical-wise, I'm a none-of-the-above. But what I've
seen here appeals to me, so expect to hear from me more in the future.
