Found it.
I can't BELIEVE I never noticed Dave in it before. ::smacking forehead::

Dave plays an extremely geeking looking guy who asks Anne to dance at the
ball. I was wondering if anyone else had noticed Dave and Bruce!

Yes, thanks! I dug out my copy and watched it again (speeding through the
duller parts, though I do enjoy that movie) and found "Louis, the school
principal" dancing with Anne. He looked so wonderfully dorky, I cracked
up.

I noticed Dave, and I never even WATCHED the show! Very
insignificant role; I don't even know why HE did it.

Dave is also an extra in an earlier scene on PEI....At the engagement picnic.

Just to attest to Dave's charisma. The very first episode of KITH I saw, I
recognized Dave immediately from Anne of Avonlea--which I thought was
pretty cool in itself. I DID NOT RECOGNIZE BRUCE!!!
The whole scene with Dave introducing himself at the charity ball
echoed clear as a bell in my mind. It was only when I read the KITH FAQ
that I found out Bruce was Roly Poly Fred Wright. Had to rewatch it then
and there, and to this day I still don't understand why Bruce, who had the
more substantive role, was so forgettable and Dave, who ostensibly had a
walk on, made such an impression on me. Go figure.

Well, I haven't watched it since before I became a kids-o-phile. I knew
who Bruce and Dave were, but I really wasn't paying attention then. :)

Yes, They crack me up too! When i saw them on Anne of Avonlea, I thought I
was going to die laughing. I don't know about anyone else, but they just
can't play a serious role!!!
