>How can the Tetanus vaccine induce immunity, when contracting the
>disease naturally does not give immunity?
It induces immunity in a large enough number of persons to be
worthwhile (considering that the alternative is risking death and
permanent nerve damage). If 99.999% get sufficient immunity,
that's a good rate of protection.
And the rate of cases is REALLY low, so the vaccine must be
working for most of us.

Answer: No, it's a good question, and it has an interesting answer. The
reason is that the real disease often poisons the patient with so little
toxin (it's very potent) that the immune system never has the chance to
"see" it and become reactive to it.
By contrast, the immunization to tetanus is done with deactivated toxin
(called "toxoid") which can obviously be given in hugely larger doses, and
thus elicits a proportionately greater immune response.

I welcome Email from strangers with the minimal cleverness to fix my address

bulk Email ad spam use "http://combat.uxn.com" to get the true corporate

No. John is a fool all the time. Good catch though.

You always talk a better quality bullshit than these other moronic
flamers.

"For example, the opportunistic diseases described on page 1,792 in
Fauci's book under the name of Clinical Categories of HIV infection,
are the same opportunistic diseases that are described in the same
book in organ transplant patients treated with high doses of
immunosuppressive medications. It is very difficult for me to imagine
that A. Fauci, the Director of the AIDS program at the NIH, spent
billions of dollars to find a cure for AIDS, yet the true answers are
presented in his publications."

They sure are. But not the same opportunistic diseases that appear in
animals given the recreational drugs that AIDS-heretics claim causes AIDS.
Those animals don't get typical AIDS opportunistic diseases, for some odd
reason. Nor do drug addicts who aren't HIV positive, no matter what
quantity of such drugs they use. A much better lab model of animals that get
AIDS type opportunistic infections, is animals infected with
immunosuppressive retroviruses. These really do cause AIDS type
opportunistic infections. And (surprise) these odd viruses are related to
HIV, the virus cultured from humans who have the same problem.
SBH
AIDS suppresses the immune system. So does chemotherapy. One would expect at
least some similar types of opportunistic diseases in patients who are on
chemotherapy and those with AIDS.
