If you receive something similar to the following error:

/Users/bill/.rvm/gems/ruby-1.9.3-p194/gems/zucchini-ios-0.5.5/lib/
runner.rb:74:in `detect_template': Instruments template at /Developer/
Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/Library/Instruments/PlugIns/
AutomationInstrument.bundle/Contents/Resources/
Automation.tracetemplate does not exist (RuntimeError)

and if you have installed Xcode via the app store, then Xcode may be
installed in a directory other than /Developer. The default for Xcode
installed via the app store is now /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/
Developer

To remedy this situation use the following command (after substituting
a different directory should you not have installed Xcode in the
default directory):

sudo xcode-select -switch /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer

the remedy is to change your developer path (compiler tool) which  link to your xcode..

just find out where is ur xcode directory located.. and switch to ur current one as bill suggested

Thanks but it doesnt seem that is the problem. the problem is that instruments template is in a new directory for xcode 4.5

when i read this guys post : https://github.com/playup/zucchini/issues/13

it seems that it should do the trick. but he said that when he changes the path to the template, xcode crashes. i am not sure why that would happen

i see. does it matter if we use auto-detect path or give the path manually ?
