I downloaded zotonic latest version (0.8.0) and then install it following by instruction.
But It cannot deploy properly.
Can anyone help me to solve?

What do you mean with "cannot deploy properly?"

Hi,
I created a sample blog (based on blog skeleton) but cannot run on browser.
Could you tell me how to install zotonic and create sample blog?

Did you use the latest version from github or did you download the
"version 0.8" zip file from google?
The latest version from github was not working for me as well. Try
0.8 from here:
http://code.google.com/p/zotonic/downloads/list, since they are stable
releases and try again.

I downloaded source code from google code, and then install again.
I start successfully zotonic, but cannot login into zotonic site with default password="admin".
I enter localhost:8000 on my browser, and use default password to login but not complete.

Actually, I create a sample firstblog based-on skeleton blog, but I don't know how to access the firstblog as well.

Maybe there are some changes which should be modified before install on local computer, right?

If you're successful, tell me how to obtain this.

The login screen you see here is the administrative login for the server.
Its password can be found in /priv/config

When you configure a site you can also define its 'hostname'.
For development I mostly do something like:

{hostname, "project.local:8000"},

And the set the in my /etc/hosts file:

127.0.0.1   project.local

When that is done, and zotonic is restarted, you will find your site on

You can always check out the 0.8.x branch from GitHub.
That one is maintained and should work (we have it in production).

The 0.9dev (aka master) branch is undergoing big changes.
We are moving to a new css framework and a new base site setup.
Because of those changes its skel frameworks are now broken.
