Subject: Noob Questions

Hey everyone,

I have only been looking into Zoie for only a little while now so forgive my
noobness.

I have been looking at the limited documentation I found:

http://linkedin.jira.com/wiki/display/ZOIE/Code+Samples
http://linkedin.jira.com/wiki/display/ZOIE/Getting+Started+-+Zoie+Exa...

But it stil does not give an excellent idea of the structure of Zoie so as
to access this through curl from PHP returning JSON.

I have an idea of how to build the searcher in Java from the code examples
but is there any examples of using that searcher throgh curl to another
third party language? Does the getting started example provide me with a
search class to test curling out with?

One more thing, does Zoie either support xml or MongoDB directly?

Thanks for your patience,

Hi Sam:

Zoie is a library, you would build a layer of request handling yourself
to translate rest/json.

You might want to check out Sensei, which is built on top of zoie and
has this functionality built in: http://www.senseidb.com

Thanks

-John
