Greetings,

I can see that Ziya::Components::Base provides an options() instance
method that returns a hash of the preferences.

Is there a way I can abuse this method to return the series colors to
me? I'm trying to use it to build a color quilt that will allow me to
add and remove series colors and ensure my pallet is looking nice.

Please advise,

jereme

Hi Jereme,

Yes that is correct. You can abuse options as you wish, after all this is a ruby
world. I would however warn against that, as this may change in another ZiYa
release and could break your code. When it comes to styling and colors the
preferred way is to leverage the yaml stylesheets and use the cascade to cust
your charts lnf. You can as easily define helpers/state that you can leverage to
tweak your palettes where they should ie in the stylesheets...
