NAVY

Imation Enterprises Corp., Vadnais Heights, Minn, is being awarded a
$6,728,068 firm-fixed-price, indefinite- delivery/indefinite quantity
contract for the mastering and replication of classified and
unclassified CD-ROMs for Navy Tactical Development and Evaluation.
Work will be performed in Vadnais Heights, Minn., and is expected to
be completed by March 2001. Contract funds in the amount of $38,872
will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was
competitively procured with 21 proposals solicited and two offers
received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, West
Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity (N00167-97-D-4000).

ARMY

ROXCO Ltd., Brandon, Miss., is being awarded a $7,887,116 firm fixed
price contract, (cumulative total $8,275,906 with one option) to
replace Junior NCO housing. The project will include demolition of 123
existing multi-family and single family housing units and five garage
buildings, roads, utilities and all asbestos and lead containing
materials in an existing neighborhood. The work includes
masterplanning, design and construction of 56 new units (36
three-bedroom units) and construction of all new neighborhood
amenities, including masterplanning for an additional 50 units to be
built in the future. The completed neighborhood shall consist of all
new utilities, site improvements, new housing units and playground.
Work will be performed at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., and is
expected to be completed by July 15, 1998. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 50 bids
solicited on Aug. 7, 1996, and four bids were received. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Ala.
(DACA01-97-C-0042).

NCI Information Systems Inc.*, McLean, Va., is being awarded a
$1,200,000 increment as part of a $44,817,327 (five years base period)
cost plus award fee contract for test engineering and analysis,
software development, and test support services for White Sands
Missile Range testing of missile defense, smart munitions, battle
management, commercial and military space

missions and other systems. Work will be performed at White Sands
Missile Range, N.M., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30,
2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. There were 185 bids solicited on May 28, 1996, and eight bids

CONTRACTS

ARMY

Halifax Corp.*, Alexandria, Va., was awarded on March 21, 1997, a
delivery order amount of $6,000,000 as part of a $29,500,000
indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide
telecommunications services, engineering and installation for Command,
Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I)
equipment/systems/networks within the continental United States
(CONUS) and outside of the continental United States (OCONUS). Work
will be performed in Cascade, Md. (25%); Alexandria, Va. (25%);
Fayetteville, N.C. (10%), and at various CONUS and OCONUS locations
(40%), and is expected to be completed by March 20, 2002. Of the total
contract funds, $250,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. There were 91 bids solicited on Dec. 19, 1996, and four bids

were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army
Communications and Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J.
(DAAB07-97-D-3001).

Systems & Electronics Inc., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a
$35,623,500 modification to a firm fixed price contract to exercise
the option for 187 Heavy Equipment Transporter System (HETS)
Semitrailers (M1000). Work will be performed in West Plains**, Mo.,
and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 1998. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole
source contract initiated on Sept. 7, 1995. The contracting activity
is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich.
(DAAE07-96-C-X100).

Pocal Industries Inc., Scranton, Pa., is being awarded a $43,710,565
firm fixed price contract to manufacture 171,892 M931 Full Range
Practice Cartridges. Work will be performed at Cornhusker Army
Ammunition Plant, Neb. (79%); and Scranton, Pa. (21%), and is expected
to be completed by Oct. 17, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract
initiated on Aug. 28, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army
Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J.
(DAAE30-97-C-1037).

Applied Measurement Systems, Inc., Hollywood, Fla., is being awarded a
$22,688,496 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-
delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for engineering and technical
support services for submarine and surface ship acoustical trials.
Work will be performed in Hollywood, Fla. (62%), Bethesda, Md. (28%),
and aboard ships at sea (10%), and is expected to be completed by
March 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 57

proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Surface Warfare
Center, Carderock Division, Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity
(N00167-97-D-0022).

Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $39,098,796
modification to previously awarded contract N00024-96- C-2100 to add
640,000 manhours of engineering, design and related efforts, including
design transfer, to support incorporation of the other shipbuilder,
Newport News Shipbuilding, in the New Attack Submarine Program and
future construction efforts. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn.,
and is expected to be completed by September 2000. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea
Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Hughes Missile Systems Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a
$7,000,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-
94-C-0257 for 20 Tomahawk Cruise Missiles Remanufacture of Block II to
Block III Submarine Torpedo Tube Launch Missiles. Work will be
performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by
September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is
the contracting activity.

Ultra Electronics, Cheltenham, England, is being awarded a $5,682,795
firm-fixed- price contract to procure 155 High Pressure Pure Air
Generator (Hi-PPAG) systems which are utilized on the LAU-7 missile
launcher to provide continuous cooling to the AIM-9 Sidewinder
missile=s seeker head during ground test and flight operations. Work
will be performed in Cheltenham, England, and is expected to be
completed by April 1998. Contract funds would not have expired at the
end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively
procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the
contracting activity (N00019-97-C-0094).

McDonnell Douglas Corp., McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St. Louis, Mo.,
is being awarded an $11,714,118 modification to previously awarded
contract N00019-95-C-0164 for support equipment for the T-45 Training
System (T-45TS). Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is
expected to be completed by July 1999. Contract funds would not have
expired at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems
Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

AV Builder Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $8,130,502
firm fixed price contract to provide for construction of 70 units of
military family housing at Travis AFB, Calif. The work will be
performed at Travis AFB, Calif. Contract is expected to be completed
January 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. There were 107 firms solicited and 6 proposals received.
Solicitation began November 1996; negotiations were completed February
1997. Human Systems Center, Brooks AFB, Texas, is the contracting

Billy E. Burnett, Inc., Tuscaloosa, Ala., is being awarded a
$6,556,390 firm fixed price contract to provide for major improvements
and repairs to 112 units of Military Family Housing at Eglin AFB, Fla.
The work will be performed at Eglin AFB, Fla. Contract is expected to
be completed April 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. There were 90 firms solicited and 6 proposals
received. Solicitation began January 1997; negotiations were completed
February 1997. Air Force Development Test Center, Eglin AFB, Fla., is
the contracting activity (F08651-97/C-0074). CORRECTION: On March 20,
we announced that Boeing Defense and Space Group, Seattle, Wash., was
being awarded a $10,157,367 face value increase to a cost plus fixed
fee contract. The description of the reason for the contract should
have read: to provide for incorporation of Identification Friend of
For (IFF) and radar sustainment modifications into four Boeing 767
Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS)aircraft.

ARMY

Bill Harbert Construction Co., Inc., Birmingham, Ala., is being
awarded a $42,435,000 contract for demolition of existing barrack
buildings, construction of two new barracks, two battalion
headquarters buildings and one company operations building and
construction of associated utilities. Work will be performed at Fort
Campbell, Ky., and is expected to be completed by July 5, 2000. Of the
total contract funds, $1,500,000 will expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. There were 191 bids solicited on Jan. 14, 1997, and six
bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers, Louisville, Ky. (DACA27-97-C-0033).

Sikorsky Aircraft, Stratford Conn., is being awarded a $6,000,000
modification to a firm- fixed-price contract for 519 Bearing
Assemblies for the UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopter. Work will be performed
in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by April 30,

1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 27, 1997. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St.
Louis, Mo. (DAAJ09- 93-G-0017).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Great Lakes/Weeks Marine-Joint Venture, Oak Brook, Ill., was awarded
on March 24, 1997, an $8,000,000 increment as part of a $28,944,500
fixed-price construction contract for a beach erosion control project.
Work will be performed from Asbury Park to Manasquan, N.J., and is
expected to be completed by Nov. 1, 1998. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 22 bids
solicited on Jan. 6, 1997, and two bids were received. The contracting
activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York, N.Y.
(DACW51-97-C-0016).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Bindley Western Drug Co., Shelby, N.C., is being awarded a $32,632,380
firm-fixed- price modified requirement contract for pharmaceuticals
under the Prime Vendor program. Four proposals were solicited and four
were received. Work is expected to be completed by March 28, 1998.
Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense
Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting

NAVY

OHM Remediation Services Corp., Aiea, Hawaii, is being awarded a
$2,694,138 modification to previously awarded contract
N62742-93-D-0610 for environmental remedial action including all
services, labor, equipment and materials required to perform a removal
action at the Construction Battalion Landfill, Public Works Center,
South Finegayan, Guam. The basic total contract amount is not to
exceed $250,000,000. Work will be performed in Guam, and is expected
to be completed by August 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Facilities Engineering
Command, Pacific Division, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting
activity.

Dayton T. Brown, Bohemia, N.Y., is being awarded a $5,609,856
modification to previously awarded contract N68335-93- C-0123 to
exercise an option for 30 hydraulic component test stands, 30
maintenance assist modules and one lot of calibration fixtures and
acceptance test reports. Work will be performed in Bohemia, N.Y., and
is expected to be completed by March 1999. Contract funds would not

have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air
Warfare Center, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems, Ft. Worth, Texas, is being
awarded a $76,016,281 face value increase to a cost-plus-
incentive-fee contract to provide for upgraded M2/M2+ Software Tapes
applicable to the Modular Mission Computer on 301 F-16 aircraft.
Contract is expected to be completed August 2000. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This effort supports
foreign military sales to Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, and Norway.

Monarch Construction Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded an
$8,403,000 firm fixed price contract for renovation of Building 45,
Gentile Station, DFAS. The project includes architectural treatment,
furniture, structural changes, plumbing, mechanical and electrical
work. Some interior and exterior demolition is included. Hazardous
materials include asbestos and lead paint. Work will be performed at
Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and is expected to be completed

Formont Division, Dynamics Corporation of America, Bridgeport, Conn.,
is being awarded an $11,563,906 firm fixed price indefinite delivery
requirements type contract for Tactical Quiet Generators - Kilowatt
(kW), Hertz (Hz): 5kW/60Hz - 254 each; 10kW/60Hz - 692 each;
15kW/400Hz - 4 each; and 15kW/60Hz - 139 each. Work will be performed
in Bridgeport, Conn., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30,

Adroit Systems, Alexandria, Va., Modern Technologies Corp., Dayton
Ohio and Support Systems Associates, Inc., Hauppauge, N.Y., are being
awarded a $190,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity
contract to provide for non-personal engineering, logistics, and
program office support services for the AC-130H/U, MC-130E/H,
HC-130P/N, C-141B, MH-53J, MH/HH-60G, UH-1N, HH-1H, HH-3E, and CV-22
aircraft. Task order requirements will be competed among the three
contractors and will be funded from the program maximum indicated
above. At this time, $10,986,000 in funds have been obligated to each
of the three contractors. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. There were 135 firms solicited and 19
proposals received. Solicitation began October 1996; negotiations were
completed February 1997. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins

NAVY

OHM Remediation Services Corp., Aiea, Hawaii, is being awarded a
$2,265,622 modification to previously awarded contract

N62742-93-D-0610 for environmental remedial action including all
services, labor, equipment, and materials required to perform a
removal action consisting of the construction of an
interceptor/collection trench system with a seawall component at Oscar
2 Pier, Naval Shipyard, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The basic total contract
amount is not to exceed $250,000,000. Work will be performed in Pearl
Harbor, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by January 1998.

Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

Westinghouse Electric Corp., Cleveland, Ohio, is being awarded a
$16,174,085 modification to previously awarded contract
N00024-95-C-6190 to exercise an option for the procurement of 135 MK48
ADCAP Torpedo MOD kits, 100 Warhead Electronic Systems, and associated
support and engineering labor. Work will be performed in Cleveland,
Ohio, and is expected to be completed by December 1998. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea

Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Planning Consultants, Inc., Virginia Beach, Va., is being awarded a
$12,439,199 cost-plus-award-fee contract for systems engineering
management and technical support services to the Program Executive
Officer for Surface Combatants/AEGIS Program (PEO SC/AP). This
contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the
cumulative value of the entire contract to $86,706,759. Work will be
performed in Virginia Beach, Va. (30%), and Arlington, Va. (70%), and
is expected to be completed by March 1998. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was
competitively procured through a Web Page and two offers were
received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the

Lockheed Martin, Government Electronic Systems, Moorestown, N.J., is
being awarded a $13,937,500 modification to previously awarded
contract N00024-94-C-5160 to exercise an option for AEGIS Operations
and Maintenance Support of Combat Systems Engineering Development Site
(CSEDS), Land Based Test Site (LBTS), Program Generation Site (PGC),
Computer Program Test Site (CPTS) and AEGIS Data Reduction Center
(ADRC). Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to

requirements will be competed among the three contractors and will be
funded from the program maximum indicated above. At this time, $25,000
in funds have been obligated to each of the three contractors. The
obligated funds amount stated yesterday was incorrect.

Boeing North America, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., is being awarded a
$20,925,336 face value increase to a cost plus fixed fee contract to
provide for interim contractor support from April 1997 through March
1998 for the AC-130U aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed
March 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force
Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-94/C-0047, P00024).

Rockwell Collings, Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a
$5,663,631 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to
provide for 250 Miniaturized Airborne Global Positioning System
Receivers (MAGR) and 133 MAGR mounts in support of various aircraft.
The work will be performed at Rockwell Collins, Inc., Coralville,
Iowa. Contract is expected to be completed May 1998. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Approximately
4% of this effort supports foreign military sales to Singapore and
Korea. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles, Calif., is the

Cubic Defense Systems, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a
$7,964,382 face value increase to a cost plus incentive fee contract
to provide for interim contractor support from April 1997 through
March 1998 for the repair for Surveillance and Control Data Link
(SCDL) Prime Mission Equipment in support of the Joint Surveillance
Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) on the E-8C aircraft. Contract is
expected to be completed July 1999. Contract funds will not expire at

Hunt Building Corporation, El Paso, Texas, is being awarded a
$12,534,138 firm fixed price contract to provide for design and
construction of 90 units of military family housing at McChord AFB,
Wash. The work will be performed at McChord AFB, Washington. Contract
is expected to be completed November 1998. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 105 firms
solicited and 3 proposals received. Solicitation began October 1996;
negotiations were completed March 1997. Human Systems Center, Brooks
Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41622-97/C-0015).

GEC-Marconi Electro Optical Overseas, Ltd., Middlesex, England, is
being awarded an $11,662,303 cost plus award fee contract to provide
for contractor logistics support from April 1997 through March 1998
for the All Light Level Television system on the AC-130U aircraft.
Contract is expected to be completed March 1999. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one firm
solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began May 1996;
negotiations were completed February 1997. Aeronautical Systems
Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp., Savannah, Ga., is being awarded a
$66,892,392 firm fixed price contract to provide for two Gulfstream
GIV-SP executive aircraft, associated spares, logistics, support
equipment, and training. Contract is expected to be completed
September 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. There was one firm solicited and one proposal
received. Negotiations were completed March 1997. This effort supports
foreign military sales to Egypt. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center,
Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity

ARMY

United Defense LP, Ground Systems Division, York, Pa., is being
awarded a $16,929,300 modification to a firm fixed price contract for
24 Field Artillery Ammunition Support Vehicles (FAASVs). Work will be
performed in York, Pa., and is expected to be completed by April 30,
1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 5, 1996. The

contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments
Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-96-C-X175).

Lockheed Martin Vought Systems, Grand Prairie, Texas, is being awarded
a $15,632,357 modification to a cost plus fixed fee contract to
exercise the option for Multiple Launch Rocket System industrial
engineering services for CY97. Work will be performed in Dallas, Texas
(90%); Teterboro, N.J. (5%); and Norwalk, Conn. (5%), and is expected
to be completed by March 31, 1998. Of the total contract funds,
$745,891 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a
sole source contract initiated on Nov. 20, 1995. The contracting

GTE Government Systems Corp., Communications Systems Division,
Taunton, Mass., is being awarded a firm fixed price requirements

contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with
each delivery order) with a cumulative total of $53,625,000 (basic
year ceiling estimate) for Tactical Switch Requirements Compact
Digital Switches, Switch Multiplexer Units, Line Termination Units,
Single Row Nest, Ancillary Equipment, and spares used in the
AN/TTC-39A/D and TTC-39E family of switches. Work will be performed in
Taunton, Mass., and is expected to be completed by March 21, 2000.
This is a sole source contract initiated on Dec. 21, 1995. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics
Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J. (DAAB07-97-D-F758).

GTE Government Systems Corp., Taunton, Mass., is being awarded a
$10,334,245 increment as part of a $115,472,453 firm fixed price
contract for common hardware/software, software maintenance, software
license for various computers, and computer parts. Various hardware
and software items are purchased from this contract to fulfill the
requirements for different customers in support of the common
hardware/software (CHS-2) program. Work will be performed in Taunton,
Mass., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1999. Of the total
contract funds, $651,608 will expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. There were 50 bids solicited on April 21, 1993, and three bids

were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army
Communications and Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J.
(DAAB07-94-C-N853).

Roy McGinnis & Co. Inc.*, San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded an
$8,221,071 firm fixed price construction contract to upgrade Recruit
Dormitory Building 5570. Work will be performed at Lackland Air Force
Base, Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 17, 1998.

Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
There were 35 bids solicited on Feb. 25, 1997, and six bids were

received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers, Ft. Worth, Texas (DACA63-97-C-0021).

Oakridge Builders, Inc., Tulsa, Okla., is being awarded a $5,452,941
firm fixed price contract for general and applied instruction and
testing facilities, consisting of renovation of three buildings for a
total of approximately 42,600 square ft. and construction of a new
15,000 square ft. steel-frame insulated building. The project includes
addition of 45 parking spaces, HVAC and fire protection renovation,
lighting, and asbestos and lead based paint abatement. Work will be
performed at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, Oklahoma, and is
expected to be completed by May 1, 1998. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 37 bids
solicited on Jan. 16, 1997, and nine bids were received. The

Caddell Construction Co. Inc., Montgomery, Ala., is being awarded a
$6,817,000 increment as part of a $9,672,000 firm fixed price contract
to clear a woodland site, construct 32 to 42 new two, three, and four
bedroom housing units with necessary roads, curbs, sidewalks and
utility systems. Amenities include air conditioning, garages,
patios/screened porches, masonry and vinyl side walls, gypsum board
walls, ceramic tiles, shingled roofs, landscaping and irrigation
systems, playgrounds, and recreation areas. Work will be performed at
Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., and is expected to be completed on Aug.
15, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. There were 146 bids solicited on Jan 27, 1997, and seven

bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers, Mobile, Ala. (DACA01-97-C-0046).

Valenzuela Engineering Inc., Santa Maria, Calif., is being awarded a
$6,172,000 firm fixed price contract to renovate the shop areas of a
large aircraft hangar. Work includes architectural, structural,
mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, major electrical, roofing,
demolition and construction-phasing in an occupied and operational
facility. Demolition includes asbestos and lead-based paint abatement
of Building 1600. The project is a design-build and the contractor
will complete the design and renovate the facility. Work will be
performed at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., and is expected to be
completed by July 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. There were 16 bids solicited on Dec. 4,
1996, and three bids were received. The contracting activity is the
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento, Calif. (DACA05-97-C- 0090).

Hunt Building Corp., El Paso, Texas, is being awarded an $8,922,622
firm fixed price contract for the demolition of 54 family housing
units, and the design and construction of 54 new housing units. The
units will include garages and patios, kitchen ranges, refrigerators,
washers, dryers, garbage disposals, dishwashers and hard-wired
interconnected smoke detectors, etc. Supporting facilities include
underground utilities and information systems, street lights, paving,
walks, curbs, gutters, open play areas and landscaping. Work will be
performed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, and is expected to be
completed by Aug. 31, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. There were 45 bids solicited on Aug. 20,
1996, and two bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Shafter, Hawaii (DACA83-97-C-0012).

Olin Corp., Winchester Division, Independence, Mo., is being awarded a
$37,650,075 modification to a cost plus award fee contract for the
operation and maintenance of a government owned/contractor operated
facility and production of small caliber ammunition to support the
troops in the field. Work will be performed at the Lake City Army
Ammunition Plant, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30,
1998. Of the total contract funds, $30,000 will expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on

Northrop Grumman Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $70,000,000
letter contract for the integration of cooperative engagement
capability modifications, including mission computer upgrade,
satellite communications, vapor cycle, and navigation upgrade into the
E-2C aircraft. Work will be performed in Bethpage, N.Y. (80%), and St.
Augustine, Fla. (20%), and is expected to be completed by September
1998. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current

fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval

Lockheed Martin Aeronutronic, Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., is being
awarded a not-to-exceed $15,020,000 ceiling- priced order for 24 types
of spare parts and seven shipping containers used to support the
F/A-18 Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) NITE Hawk Pods. This contract
combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (15.3%), and the governments of
Switzerland (77.9%), and Malaysia (6.8%), under the Foreign Military
Sales (FMS) Program. Work will be performed in Rancho Santa Margarita,
Calif., and is expected to be completed by January 1999. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This
contract was competitively procured with two proposals solicited and
one offer received. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia,
Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-96-G-001A) (Order 5014).

Morrison Knudsen Corp., North Charleston, S.C., is being awarded a
$2,291,836 modification to previously awarded contract
N62467-93-D-1106 for environmental remedial action which provides for
the decontamination and closure of several process facilities and
temporary hazardous waste storage sites located at the Naval Avionics
Warfare Center, Indianapolis, Ind. The basic total contract amount is
not to exceed $300,000,000. Work will be performed in Indianapolis,
Ind., and is expected to be completed by November 1997. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval
Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, North Charleston,
S.C., is the contracting activity.


OHM Remediation Services Corp., Findlay, Ohio, is being awarded a
$2,885,473 modification to previously awarded contract
N68711-93-D-1459 for environmental remedial action which provides for
all services, labor, equipment and materials required to remediate
various underground storage tank sites at Marine Corps Air Station,
Tustin, Calif. The basic total contract amount is not to exceed
$250,000,000. Work will be performed in Tustin, Calif., and is
expected to be completed by December 1998. Contract funds will not

being awarded a $9,189,467 modification to previously awarded contract
N00024-96-C-5453 for definitization of items for production and
deployment of Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) MK 1 for LSD 41/49 class
ships. Work will be performed in Fullerton, Calif. (80%), and San
Diego, Calif. (20%), and is expected to be completed by March 1998.

governments of Saudi Arabia (15.7%), and Taiwan (84.3%) under the
