INDIAN COOKERY

Want a change? Love to eat Indian food?  Want to learn how to make it at home?

Come and join our classes! Indian Cookery Lessons started as a fun idea and continues to remain a fun project till date. It is a place where you learn to cook good Indian food, eat all the food cooked, make new friends, have a laugh and have fun all the way!!

Everything is provided by us. You do not have to be a competent cook to attend. All you need is interest and motivation to learn. The rest is easy!

Please be advised these will be the last Indian cookery course perhaps next year. 

Lesson 1

Fish & Prawn Korma - curry made with mild spices, ginger, yoghurt and coconut milk

Lemon Rice - Yellow and lemonny rice with spices and nut. 

Avocado Kachoumber - Indian Salad

Lesson 2

Tandoori Chicken - Chicken quarters marinated in yoghurt, tandoori powder, garlic and ginger paste, chilli powder and lemon juice then baked to perfection in the oven.   

Mixed Tarka Dhal.-  Cooked lentils tempered with fried garlic and spiced ghee.   

Aloo Saag - Chunks of potatoes cooked with spices with a touch of spinach.   

ROTIs - Unleavened indian flat bread

Lesson 3

Rajma - Kidney Bean curry made with spices, fresh cream & fresh herbs

Mattar Khumb aur aloo - A Peas, mushrooms and potatoes dry curry. With a perfect blend of spices.

Peshwari Naan - Indian Bread stuffed with onions, ginger, flavourful spices and many more. 

Duration: Once a week for 3 weeks. 

Time: 6pm to 8pm

Dates: 1st Lesson  - 17th July 2012

            2nd Lesson - 24th July 2012

            3rd Lesson - 31st July 2012

Cost: $75/person
