• Valuable time and resources are being wasted finding and retrieving
information that is in the office computers.
• Information required for decision making is not easy to find and
sometimes only found after “uninformed” decisions have been made
• There is no relationship between the paper records in the office and
the documents on the office computer
• It is not easy to find e-mails sent or received a few months ago
• When the Secretary/Personal Assistant is not there, it is almost
impossible to find documents.
