I have come across a product PgMap at this site http://st-links.com/default.aspx.
Anyone who has used it and how does it compare to zigGIS.

I've been meaning to make an announcement that zigGIS has officially
reached its end-of-life since the next version of ArcGIS should
support direct read / write interoperability with PostGIS (thereby
rendering zigGIS moot). I was delaying the announcement because I was
hoping we could test PgMap and, if it was any good, suggest it as an
alternative during the interim. But we haven't been able to test it
yet.

In any case, PgMap is free, so why not give it a try? I'm sure the
list would appreciate any feedback you could give.

Hey Abe:
Sorry to her ZigGIS is EOL - it really made our life so much better. Just want to say thanks to Bill, Paolo, and you for all the hard work and innovation you did.
Thanks
Steve

Hi, Abe!

What is the possibility of open  the latest versions of the code?

It would be interesting because many users cannot upgrade to ArcGIS 10.1 quickly (high costs)

Steve, Thanks for the kind words!

Cássio, I'm planning on doing just that. But I didn't want to
announce anything yet because I have very little free time right now
and don't know when I can get to it. Thanks for steeling my thunder.

Abe,

I'm from Brazil and English is not my first language. I'm sorry if I
gave the impression (incorrect) I want to take advantage of your work,
it was not the intention.

I'm not a user of ArcGIS, but I know many users would enjoy using your
product, precisely because ArcGIS is very expensive here to be
updated.

Again, sorry!

Cassio

Cássio,

You don't know me but if you did you would know that I kid around. A
lot. "Steeling my thunder" is just a matter of speaking. I was being
silly. And while I would've preferred to wait until things were ready
to go before announcing zigGIS's upcoming open sourced availability,
it's really not a big deal. No hard feelings!

Hopefully I can release zigGIS sooner rather than later but we'll just
have to see how it goes.
