Subject: ZVC at 12 hrs of the Wild West

Due to heavy rains the night before, the 12hrs became the 11hrs of the Wild West.

Riders sporting the ZV colors included: Mike and Liz Barrow, Michael and Paul Gagnier, Larry Jay, Henry Gil, and Mike Sullivan. Did I forget anyone?

Among those placing: Mike and Liz's team Lady Cluck and the Boys (1st in co-ed team), Whiskey Brunch Club (Paul G, James Boyle and Myself) 2nd in 4man team, Whiskey Shotz Club (Henry G, Larry J and Dave Haliburton) 4th in 4man team. Michael Gagnier was the youngest rider in the race and I'll let you all guess which ZV rider was the most senior rider participating.

Other local riders who did well include: Ligia Ford (1st in solo women), Rico Smith in solo single speed, Smokin' Ray Padilla and Raymond Johnson in duo-male, Michael Gagnier and Anne Becker in co-ed duo. Did I forget anyone?

Rain before and after the event but beautiful on race day. The course was super fast after the rain. Great time!
