:-) True. How sad...
Well, no apparent demand for a meetup in the Seattle area. I'm
probably going to be in the Bay Area the week after. So any interest
in a Bay Area meetup during the week of the 30th?

Probably central SF, but able to move around.
Whatever happens, I'm up for drinks!
Jon
SF works well for me. I am down for a meetup and drinks!

I've tentatively put up 7pm on June 1st on the wiki. I'm guessing from
their names these places serve beer? :)
We'll need space. Have five folk so far.
I heard beer, +1

Seb, it'd be cool if you can host it. Can you create a page like
Michel did for the Portland meetup, at
http://www.zeromq.org/event:portland-2011-05-27, choose a location,
and then we can fix the date and time? 7pm is probably a bit late
IMO...

I'm nearby in Berkeley, so I think I can make it.
Sounds like fun,

Excellent!
It's going to be fun. I'd like to present my virtual transport
extension (VTX) layer for 0MQ, using UDP as a proof of concept &
example.
Now all we need is a date and time.
What about the 1st of June at 6pm?

Apparently backtype is using zmq in their stream processing,

Would be great if we can get some info on their experience.

+1
I just edited the page to add this date. How many people should I
expect? I counted 7 on the list.
Is pizza & beer ok? :-P

7-8 sounds right, though more may join depending how widely we spread
the news. In Portland we were 20 or so...
Pizza and beer is definitely ok for me. Will we have space for a little unconf?
-Pieter
Yes there is a projector.

Great stuff! Everyone who's coming could maybe twitter and email to
their contacts, so we can get a full room.
