zekr 7.1 flash player in offline mode

I installed zekr 0.7.1 in my jaunty ubuntu. The problem was the flash
player couldn't shown in offline mode, so I could not play the offline
recitation.

please help me to solve this

Ho did you make Zekr work in offline mode? Did you disabled local HTTP server? Zekr 0.7.1 audio (online or offline) only works with HTTP server.

I have same problem. When my network card didn't connect to local area network or internet, the NIC is automatically disabled. After that, zekr cann't play the audio files. The flash player button sometime didn't appear.

What i have to do to fix this problem?

No i didn't. I enable local http server. I install apache web server in
my ubuntu. so what's wrong?

Which one cann't you play: offline or online audio after your are disconnected from LAN? Please tell me the detailed steps you follow and fail to play an audio file. Also send me your zekr.log file.

I didn't mean Apache. Zekr has it's own local http server which starts automatically. No need to other HTTP servers.

Did you install Zekr from official repository? Is your package up-to-date?

Send me your ~/.zekr/zekr.log file.

I can't play offline audio
Here is the steps:
1. I am disconnected from LAN.
2. I am opened the Zekr application.
3. After the Zekr is opened, the flashbutton button in bottom of application is not show up.

So i can't play any aya / sura.
I also can't search any aya in quran mode or translation mode.
When I try to search any words, Zekr is show this message "This document cannot be displayed while offline. To go online, uncheck Work Offline from the File menu."

after that ...
4. I connected to the LAN (it is no problem there is any connection to internet or not).
5. I clicked menu View > Reload.
6. The flashbutton in bottom of application is show up.
7. Then I can play the sound of aya and search any words in quran mode or translation mode.

Salaam,

We had similar issue reports previously. You can probably find your answer group archive, though Google Groups search is so buggy and can only search in recent one month archive.

You can also fix that "This document cannot be displayed..." issue, by simply disabling audio through Tools > Options.

After I disabling audio through Tools > Options, search function is fully usable. Jazakallah for this tip.

How about the audio problem?

I try to reenable audio, then I try change the value with localhost, the "This document cannot be displayed..." message is appear again. And the audio still can't play.

Well, my quick solution is to switch to Zekr 0.7.5 beta 2.
