incorrect number of search hits?

First of all thanks a lot for this great software. It fulfills the
need for Quranic software that is multi-platform and not only windows-
centric.
I have been trying to use the search functionality in Zekr for numeric
miracles in the Holy Quran. (Some of them are mentioned on this page:
http://shlt-rahat.net/vb/showthread.php?t=1644 ) Unfortunately, most
of the searches I've been trying do not produce the same results as
the ones reported on the Internet.
I've tried to account for possible mistakes on my part by varying the
search terms, but the numbers I get are often smaller than the numbers
reported, and they are usually around 50 or around 100 although the
expected number should be much higher.
For example, it is reported (on the page I linked to) that the words
Dunya and Akhira are repeated 115 times each. I've found only 52
repetitions for Dunya and 51 for Akhira. Why is that? Are there
spelling variations that I should search for?
On the other hand, smaller numbers seem to be reported correctly. For
example:
Shahr is found 12 times, Shahrayn is found twice, and Ashhur is found
4 times, Rajul is found 24 times as reported (although امرأة is only
found 4 times, not 24..)
I've tried searching for much more common words and parts of words,
and it seems like there is some problems with large searches, for
example هو is found only 65 times, and ما is found only 95 times,
although I suspect these words are much more numerous. So it seems the
program has a tendency to produce smaller numbers of hits that in
reality?
Any light on the matter would be greatly appreciated,

Steps
1. Research approved Quran Miracles
2. Collect them and list them in different Categories such as Mathematical, Physical, Chemical, Astronomical, etc.
3. Develop a validation process for each one of them.
4. Demonstrate the Miracle in Zekr project in convenient contextual design manner, by
- Showing relevant Quranic verses,
- Listing modern science Academic References (Scientific Research papers, Academic Centers Contact information,etc)
- Explaining our approach to the proof, (might be helpful to be added in technical documentation as well for later researchers)
- Attempt to design an online "Quran Miracles DataBank" based on Resource Descrpition Framework (RDF) !

You should use advanced search, instead of ordinary search. In
ordinary search, it searches for a term, while "Maximum search result
count" not exceeded. You can increase it however on Tools > Option >
General. In advanced search you can also use wildcards (*, ?),
parenthesis and boolean operators.
Advanced search => *دنیا => results in 115 result in 111 ayas.
Advanced search => *آخرة => results in 115 results in 113 ayas.

For Shahr, you can (advanced) search for : شهر شهرا *شهر -*اشهر
which looks for Shahr, Shahran, Alshahr, Beshahr, and excludes it's
mukassar (Ashhur) plural form (exactly 12 results in 9 ayas).
Regarding the words man and woman, you can search for either *امراة*
in the advanced search or امراة in ordinary search, both result in 26
items in 25 ayas. If you exclude the muthanna cases in 2:282 and
28:23, you can find exactly 24 results. An alternative search query
can be: *امرأت* -*امرات?ن which excludes itself muthanna cases.
Rajul, can be found setting match diacritic in ordinary search tab,
and searching for رَجُل (resulting in 26 items). You should then
exclude 5:23 and 28:15 (muthanna case).

Again you are using ordinary search, with default maximum result set
to 50. Either switch to advanced search, or increase that count.

P.S.
Please note that not all claimed miracles are exact and correct. For
example when Rashad Khalifa found an exception in his 19 mathematical
framework he removed the last two ayas of sura Al-Tawba (9:128 and
9:129), claiming that these ayas are extra!

Thanks a lot. :) I should have looked harder into the menus. Also perhaps the search limit can be increased by default to more than 50 in future versions? It's rather unintuitive that search would be limited to 50 hits, and many computer users will not guess what the problem is (just like me).
One more more question, how do I access the advanced search functionality? I am not able to din it. :(

It used to be 100, but since ordinary search doesn't support
pagination, the result page size was somewhat large with 100 results.

You should see "Advanced" tab, next to the "Search" (if you are using
Zekr 0.6.0+). See the attached screen shot. Also take a look:
