Subject: TT-Monitor-Verkabelung?
Hello,

my Atari-TT monitor PTC1426 is out of order. It is completely dark although the
green LED is on and from behind I can see the tube glooming. I brought the
monitor to a computer shop and they told me they will repair it. But after a
while the just said they can't do it because they need some special part (which
one they didn't tell me) and this very piece is not available anymore. So I
took the monitor back and had a look into it myself. I found a red cable coming
out of the "screen-transformator" (I don't know the exact term in English :-( )
hanging around. Where should I fix the other end of this cable? On the little
card just fixed at the tube there is no cable connected to "G2" that leads to
pin 7 of the tube. What should I fix there? On the main card in the lower right
corner there is "G2" twice. One cable leads to the card on the tube but the
second one is hanging around. Again, where should it be fixed?

If you have such a monitor I would appreciate it if you could have a look
into it.

Regards,
   Christoph Gartmann
