Are the scenes or chapters marked as unused?

I'm having the same problem another user reported on 3/21/10 -- at a certain point in my writing (less than 1/3 through my 117K word draft), all the text I paste into the scene window gets marked with a strikethrough.

Since I do my actual writing in MS Word, I found this annoying, but not a real problem -- until I tried exporting the entire novel after I completed the draft. When I opened the export file in Word, I found that the text of the "strikethrough" scenes had not been exported (the *** marking scene transitions were there, but not the text in each scene.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling yWriter, in case there was some hidden setting I couldn't fix. That didn't help.

I tried opening each RTF file in the RTF5 folder of the yWriter project and manually converting it to unformatted text, resaving, and reopening the project. That didn't help -- the strikethrough scenes were once again struck through.

I tried exporting as plain text -- that didn't help. The affected scenes were still missing.

This is driving me crazy. I need to know what is wrong and how to avoid this problem in the future. Aside from this bug, I love yWriter, but this problem is greatly reducing its usefulness. HELP!

No, they are not unused scenes. At first I thought it was because Word had "track changes" turned on, and I hadn't accepted the changes, but that doesn't seem to be the problem. The problem seems to be in yWriter. It is driving me crazy.
