First thing that comes to mind is that your .yw5 file (XML file) is damaged.  One way to recover would be to create a new project and copy your scenes to it.  Another would be to perform surgery on the .yw5 file, but that would be challenging.

Hello 

I am using yWriter 5. Every time I add a new location and associate it to a scene, the program can't load previously saved locations. 

I looked at the XML file to see if the program actually saved location and I saw the location in "LOCATIONS" tag. 

But for a reason it can't read them from XML.
