“Today is the tenth anniversary of the Yukkuri Memorial Day. We have
erected this statue here, in Tokyo Yukkuri Park, to forever remember
how our saviors delivered us when the end looked like it was
inevitable.”

And so the services began for the 10th Memorial Day. The white cover
was lifted… and behind the covers was a giant yukkuri Reimu statue,
made out of bronze.

Environmental problems, world hunger, the energy crisis… There were
many problems in the world. Out of nowhere, like a severed human
head, they appeared.

The people named them after the words that came out of their mouths:
Yukkuri.

“NNNNNHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!”

After they appeared, yukkuri populated exploded exponentially. The
result was that the world was filled with bean paste goods, and the
world hunger problem was solved instantaneously.

“We have many food!!! Ya-ha!!!!!” (literally what the original story
said)
“WHHYYYYY IS MISTER EATING REIMU’S LITTLE ONESSSSSSS!!!”

Not only that.

“Munch~ Munch~~ There’s’ so much food here!!”
“This is Marisa’s best easy place, ze!!!”

Yukkuris eat everything. The world garbage problem was solved.
Because of this, there was no need to incinerate all those garbage,
and the amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere decreased
exponentially, alleviating the greenhouse problem. Because of the
exponentially increasing amount of yukkuris, they were an ideal
resource for bio-fuel. They immediately replaced fossil fuels, which
was on the brink of running out.

“Mister fire go away!! Don’t come here!!! Reimu is
hoooooooootttttt!!!!!!”

But yukkuris brought even more gifts.

“REFRESHED~~!! REFRESHED~~!!! REFRESHED~~!! REFRESHED~~!!!!!!”
“Want… to… take it easy…. More….”

The yukkuri corpse that turned into a charcoal like state from being
over-refreshed has very good water retention and makes for an
extremely rich topsoil. Using this type of soil to plant trees,
grass, and other various kinds of vegetation, the world was able to
stop the encroaching desertification plaguing many areas of the world
as well as replenish the depleted natural topsoil in many places of
the world. Many barren areas have been turned into ideal farmlands,
thanks to this soil.

“Alice hasn’t had enough!!! Give the great Alice 10 more Marisas!!!!”

Soon after, another amazing discovery was made.

“Pee-pee easy!!!!!!”

No matter what kind of water they drink, yukkuris can turn the
polluted water into sugar water. Because of this, water purification
has made tremendous strides towards complete elimination of polluted
water resources. Mercury amounts has been lowered dramatically, and
deep sea fishes are now safe for consumption once again.

“W…Why can’t Reimu stop pee-peeing!!!!!!! YUUUUU?????”

Yukkuris are not limited to natural contributions. On top of helping
correct the environment, solving the world hunger and energy crisis
problems…

“Chen doesn’t get it, Chen doesn’t get it!!!!!!!”

Yukkuris are the best objects to relief one’s stress. Because of the
ability to relief stress on other sentient objects, domestic violence
decreased exponentially. On top of the relief for the world food
crisis, there are no longer crimes committed to feed one’s family.

“AHAHAHAHA!! CRY MORE FOR ME!!!”
“Chen doesn’t YUGGPLLEEHHHHHH!?!?”

Well, yukkuris aren’t just for stress relief. They are very easy to
take care of as pets. They also speak the human language, which is a
plus. After some education, they can achieve intelligence on par with
humans… and so yukkuris became man’s best friend.

“Ow!! I cut my hand… ow ow ow…”
“Mister, Mima will lick lick for you~ pain pain fly away~!” (Yes,
Mima… from TH 1. http://touhou.wikia.com/wiki/Mima)
“Take it easy!”
“Haha, thanks little Mima… it doesn’t hurt anymore.”

“We’re going to work now!”
“Yuyuko, watch the house for us!”
“Don’t worry easy!”

Even the elderly were blessed by the yukkuris.

“Mukyu, good afternoon grandma. Are you feeling ok today?”

The yukkuris can speak human languages… so they became the best
conversation partners for the lonely elderly folks.

“Haha, grandma is very energetic today too, thanks to you! Lunch is
almost ready, come eat lunch with grandma.”
“Mukyun~ Thank you grandma~”

Of course, its not just humans that yukkuris saved.

“This forest is a very easy place!! Marisa can live here easy!”
“CHINPO!!!”

Because of the many different kinds of yukkuri, they can live anywhere
in the wild, in any kind of environment.
Many animals and insects became dependent on yukkuris for prey, and
the broken species that were on the verge of extinction slowly made a
comeback from lack of predation.

“MISTER BEAR NOOOOOOOOOOO”
“Can’t take it easy like this~!!”

Yes, thanks to yukkuri, the world is a much better place. The world
is now functioning like it is suppose to…. To humans, yukkuris are
like the saviors of the planet. Undoubtedly, we will discover more
functions and uses for yukkuris in the future.

In order to remember yukkuris’ contribution, this day was declared
Yukkuri Memorial Day by the world, the only holiday celebrated by
every single person on this planet.

Now, yukkuris have become the backbone of the planet.

Can yukkuris still live like they did before, living it easy?
Nobody knows, but there’s only one thing that’s for certain…

Take it easy!

Thanks foe work, man That was fast.

“CHINPO!!!” usually people translate it as "DIIICK!!!", this
catchphrase of youmu types.

>Even the elderly were blessed by the yukkuris.

>“Mukyu, good afternoon grandma. Are you feeling ok today?”

And this is probably reference on automatic bear dolls that Japan have
for elderly. They ask about health from time to time, when they sense
human is near and if they don't get any response dolls call for medics.

Thanks for work, man. That was fast.

Two typos in one line. Gone to put an end for this miserable life.

I didn't know about the bear doll. That's interesting to know!

And yeah... I thought about translating it into "DIIIICKKK" but it
just doesn't feel right for some reason... :|

LOL.

It's rare to find any good Touhou-related stuff on Google Groups...
