Anko3701: Being selfish is uneasy

Hi guys, I've been reading this site ever since I stumbled across it
two weeks back. Finished reading it in a week, then spent a few days
more rereading gems like Raising Badged Yukkuri, Wolf and the 7
Yukkuris, Eye for an Eye. Anyway, I have some ideas I'd like to write
out (if not for my studies and other stuff interfering), but for now,
please enjoy my (probably crappy) translation of anko3701. It's a rush
job since I have to study, so my attempts at slurring (which
thankfully isn't much) and yukkuri vocabulary might not be too good.

Anko3701: Being selfish is uneasy

"Geezer shouldn't take it easy and give mister rice!"
While I'm eating a rice ball in the park during my break, I hear a
line I was very familiar with. When I look down, it's a yukkuri Reimu
like I expected.
"Being selfish is uneasy, you know! So geezer should give Reimu mister
rice!"

'Being selfish is uneasy'
It's an often-used phrase of yukkuris.
When you hear it, it seems they're referring to 'something that you
should share with yukkuris. And apart from sharing, these guys, no,
these yukkuris are also thinking about how to let us take it easy. For
example, a yukkuri will show its children and ask for sweet-sweets.
However, that's just an excuse for them.

I interact with yukkuris more than others due to my job, so I'm more
familiar with them than most people. But whether that's a good thing
or not, right now is my break time.
"Alright. But, I have a condition."
"Hand it over quickly! Lots of it is fine!"
"I will once you do what I ask."
I take my handphone out from my pocket and select the sound recorder.
"This is something that will record voices. Try saying something."
"Yu? Take it easy!"
It's the usual expected line. I replay that line.
"Take it easy!"
"Yuyu!"
It's probably its first time hearing its own voice being repeated by a
machine that recorded it. It's so awed that it forgot about the rice
balls.
"Okay, so you understand this, right? I'll use this to record your
words. Got that?"
"Yufufun. Reimu's beautiful voice has charmed you!"
Though it's pissing me off, I'll just ignore it.

I started recording.
*beep*
"Okay, Reimu. Being selfish is uneasy, right?"
"Yun? Of course! Scum that are selfish with easy things has to be
punished!"
*beep*

*beep*
"Oh? So punishment is a must?"
"That's right! Being selfish is uneasy!"
*beep*

*beep*
"Even if there's a reason? No matter who it is?"
"Reimu doesn't care about that! Scum must be punished!"
*beep*

I stop recording and keep away my handphone.
"Alright, I promised. Here you go."
I give it the half-eaten rice ball and open the pack with the two
extra rice balls I was planning to eat later to give it those as well.
"Yu! You should feel glad to be my slave!"
So I upgraded from a geezer to a slave, huh? Well, it's always like
this.
"Well, I'm going off. Take it easy all you want."
"It's okay to give Reimu food again! Lots of it is fine!"

"Yu~n! Munch munch happiness-!"
Reimu is eating the rice ball scattering food all over the place.
"But that was a stupid slave! There's mister dessert after mister
rice, isn't it!"
Expressing discontent despite getting food so easily.
At that point, a Marisa appeared.
"Reimu, take it easy!"
"Yu! Take it easy!"
The two of them exchange the usual greeting.

"Reimu, Marisa is hungry! Give mister rice!"
"Yuyu!"
Reimu had an expression that said 'What is this thing saying'. "Don't
wanna! This is Reimu's mister rice! Why does Reimu have to give it to
an unknown Marisa? Are you stupid? Do you want to die?"
"Why would you say thaaaaaaaat!" Marisa screams with tears in its
eyes. "Being selfish isn't easy! Understand that easy!"
"Reimu doesn't care! Anyway this is Reimu's mister rice!"

"Yunya-! Marisa will punish the selfish Reimu!" Marisa lunged forward
to slam its body into Reimu.
However, this is an eating Reimu against a starving Marisa. Marisa's
body slam was easily dodged.
"Suddenly attacking, you scum Marisa! Reimu will punish you!" Reimu
grabs a stone beneath the bench in its mouth, and started beating
Marisa with it.
"Owch! Shtop! Yunyaaaaaaaaaa!"
Just how hungry was that Marisa? It was around the same size as Reimu,
but Marisa was getting trashed.

"Wanched... moar eajy..." It didn't take long for Marisa to take it
easy forever.
"Yun! Marisa really was uneasy scum! Reimu won't give such scum mister
rice!" Reimu spits onto Marisa's corpse.

"Ho~ isn't that being selfish?"
"Yuyu!?"
When I reveal myself from the trees behind the bench where Reimu and
Marisa were, Reimu jumped in shock.
"Yuyu, the slave from just now! You brought sweet-sweets for Reimu,
didn't you!"
"Why should I?"
While I can understand why she would say that since I watched
everything earlier, accepting it is another matter entirely.
In any case, let's return to the matter at hand. I don't have much
time to play with this yukkuri.

"Weren't you being selfish towards that Marisa just now?"
"Yuuun? This is Reimu's mister rice, right? Why does Reimu have to
give it to Marisa?"
"But being selfish is what scum does, isn't it?"
"Yuyu! Reimu doesn't know about that!"

*beep*
"Okay, Reimu. Being selfish is uneasy, right?"
"Yun? Of course! Scum that are selfish with easy things has to be
punished!"

"Yuyu!?"
"Selfish people should be punished, shouldn't they? Then, I have to
punish you, don't I?"
I had replayed the conversation I had with Reimu earlier from my
handphone.
"This is what you explained, which I recorded, and am now replaying."
"Yu, yuyuyu! Reimu doesn't know about that! Stop saying uneasy things!
I'll go puff-puff!"

*beep*
"Okay, Reimu. Being selfish is uneasy, right?"
"Yun? Of course! Scum that are selfish with easy things has to be
punished!"

"Yunya-! Don't play with Reimu's beautiful vooooooice!"

*beep*
"Okay, Reimu. Being selfish is uneasy, right?"
"Yun? Of course! Scum that are selfish with easy things has to be
punished!"

"Yu, yuyuyu..."
It's a well-known fact that yukkuris quickly forget about things that
are uneasy to them. For example, they'll apologize whole-heartedly
after getting punished for doing something bad. Their apologies in
such cases will be a genuinely whole-hearted apology.
However, in cases of a false apology, there are cases of them
forgetting about ever having apologized. Since apologies are uneasy
things for a yukkuri, they'll forget about it.
But, things are different this time. The reason why is because I've
recorded Reimu's words. If she's forgotten, then all I have to do is
replay them.

"And so, I think I'll punish you now."
"Yuyuyu.... Yu! Punishment is too much! Also, that Marisa was scum
that was going to steal mister rice!"
As expected, it has noticed the grave it dug for itself. Because of
that, it's trying to reason with me so as not to get punished.
But- I already planned for that.

*beep*
"Oh? So punishment is a must?"
"That's right! Being selfish is uneasy!"

*beep*
"Even if there's a reason? No matter who it is?"
"Reimu doesn't care about that! Scum must be punished!"

I continue to replay the recorded voice for this frantically denying
Reimu.

It's probably easy for Reimu to imagine what sort of fate lies in
store for it.
"Stoooooooop! Can't take it easy if you punish meeeeeee!" It screamed
desperately, not wanting to be punished by me.

"Sorry, no can do. Because my job is to exterminate the likes of you."
Just right then, the clock in the park rang for 1pm.

"Yu!?"
I pick up Reimu and walk towards the vehicle parked in the parking
lot.
"I'm an anti-yukkuri specialist from the Factory. My job is to
exterminate yukkuris like you, who cause problems for humans."
"Re-Reimu never did anythiiiiiiiing!"
"I'm sure you did. Didn't you go bothering other people like how you
asked me for food? Plus there are reports from those living around
here."
I did come to this park during my break because I wanted to rest, but
at the same time it was to see if a yukkuri would try something.
"But, but! Mister human had lots of mister rice! So it should be okay
to give soooooome!"
"Weren't you the one who wouldn't even give one to that starving
Marisa?"

I put Reimu into the clear carrying case I had in the vehicle. "After
all, your kind are jealous of other people's easiness because you
can't take it easy yourselves. Being selfish is uneasy? Nope. You just
can't handle being uneasy."

*beep*
"Take it easy!"
Replaying the voice of Reimu that I initially recorded, I shut the
case.

If you realize, I typed mister rice instead of mister food... sorry
for being literal, but I realized it too late. In any case, it can
apply since Anon was eating rice balls. XD

I LOVE this sort of justice, nearly as much as the Deibu and Miss
Deibu story.

Good to know that Wolf7 is still being enjoyed and reread. Sorry to

Maybe someday we'll see conquest finished, hopefully. And I'm glad to
see someone else joining the community and contributing with
translations. Perhaps that story that I have in my head will see the
light sometime in the future too
