Figured these may be of some use to others:

"gpeeps" is a shortcut to your Google Contacts - obviously must be
logged in. This _bypasses_ Gmail, and should always work.

"mymap" is a direct shortcut to Google's My Maps, if you have any.
Another one where you should be logged in.

Thanks, Axle

"gpeeps" is a nice find - but I would suggest using https://www.google.com/contacts
instead of the Gmail UI URL you used (I will note that I only found
this URL after doing a search related to the command you uploaded). It
will probably prove less volatile. I have created a "gcontacts"
command accordingly. What we're lacking is a contact search command,
but I have been unable to find one.

"mymaps" is very nice.

I created gcon2 to search Google contacts. It's not ideal, though,
because the only way I could figure out to do it was to go in through
the HTML interface.
http://yubnub.org/kernel/man?args=gcon2

The command looks like this:
https://mail.google.com/mail/h/?fv=cl&pv=cl&fpnl=a&cs=fc&f=1&scq=%s&f=1

I used "gcon2" because I had used "gcon" for the original Google
contacts search in 2005. That command broke when Google updated their
contact system.

If people like gcon2, we could use that command to replace gcon.

However, if someone comes up with a more elegant way to search Google
contacts (from the normal interface instead of the HTML interface),
I'd prefer that.

Hey Jon -

I think it's confusing to people to have the [virtually unused] command "mymaps" competing with the command I just created ("mymap"). Any reason you know of not to change this? You could keep both, but switch them around, or just get rid of "mymaps" and replace it with mine, as I'm sure that one is likely duplicated in another command, or could be easily redone in a more relevant command.

Good point, Axle. mymap is now mymaps.

Updated gcon to match gcon2 - thanks for the update!
