youMashTube is a
high-performance AJAX drag & drop video editor where you
fast-search YouTube and drag results into your playlist. The website
lets registered or anonymous users save a playlist as a webpage. When
fullscreen is enabled, it persists for all videos in a playlist. It
lets users snip videos by setting a start and end point. It supports
comments, social bookmarking, and statistics for all saved mashes.
Finally, saved mashes can be dragged into a playlist, allowing for drag
& drop playlist aggregation. More advanced video-editing features
are planned for the near future.

"Rock Your Look" is a website, created for JC Penney by advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi New York and Grow Interactive, a Norfolk-based interactive agency. The website allows visitors to record, customize and share their own karaoke music videos in a first-of-its kind contest. Webcam-generated videos are dynamically uploaded to YouTube and then are fed in for the site’s gallery. Using YouTube for this functionality allows participants to increase the audience for his or her video, and it also extends the reach of the campaign through its user generated content.
