I noticed that i get a different favorites stream when i'm making an
authenticated call in then a non-authenticated call. The non-
authenticated call http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/users/allyia/favorites returns me 1 of my 2 favorite videos. The authenticated call returns
me my entire stream.

Thanks Jeff, How long is this latency? For my particular feed, the
video that is not appearing in my non-authenticated state has been
added to my stream almost 6 months ago
thanks

Thanks! I didn't realize I did that...hmm isn't this an inconsistency?
On my favorited page on youtube, I can see that i favorited both even
though one is a racy video. (I'm not logged in)
thanks

The site handles things differently. If you click on the video you are asked to log in before it will play. Since it wouldn't be practical to try to replicate this flow within the embedded player, sites can choose to do their own age-check and either display the video or not based on the metadata.

HI Jeff,
Cool, I'm not sure if you know, but you have a similar issue with
returning favorited videos where that video has been removed from the
site, but still is in user's favorited stream. These favorites have
no thumbnails and the links back to the edit favorites area.
thanks

Yeah, that's an edge case I'm familiar with. We have to provide the
entry to the user since otherwise they couldn't delete it, but it
would be nice if there was an element that could mark the favorite as
pointing to a video that is taken down.
