Please take note of the following updates.
1) EGBE OMO YORUBA, VANCOUVER, CANADA.
As most of you know, the Vancouver chapter is holding its' formal chapter
launching Saturday, July 25, 2009. We know most of you would have loved to
attend, but Realistically given that a trip to Vancouver from the East Coast
plus hotel will cost each person at least $700 not counting time lost from
work. Also, the convention is right around the corner.
As such, we are asking that those who want to support the chapter can send a
donation to them in lieu of the travel cost:

2) 2009 CONVENTION - HOTEL RESERVATION
It is about 45 days to the convention and the count down to register is
underway. We have about 12 days more to meet our room deadlines. Although we
have made some trides lately, we are still about 50% below our required
minimum.
