If anyone has a viable design from yesterday's EAGLE workshop and they want me to make it for them, it's no extra cost to me if I can fit them all on one board.

Email me your designs (just an eagle .brd file) and I'll try to make them for you.

I can do double sided if you need it but the vias and holes will not be plated.

It's up to you to get the components sorted.

Dan.

Is PCB etching something that could be done at Guppy's as a demonstration, or does it take too long / involve toxic nastiness etc that would preclude that?

I would suggest perhaps the air flow in the classroom wouldn't be ideal. We'd have to replace his light bulbs with red ones if we want to see what's going on as it enters the UV box. And lastly, I don't want to be the one responsible for burning a hole in his carpet if it all goes wrong and I spill some etching fluid. (I'm not too bothered about my own carpet.)

I'd love to demonstrate it there but I'm afraid it just isn't a good idea.

I have sent you my attempt. Thanks for the offer. Will be good to see
how bad I can get such a simple board design. Even with Nathan's expert
tuition.

Mine wasn't in a state I'd want preserving - will save that for a future effort.  Nonetheless very pleased how the session went, excellent job Nathan!  Will no doubt have questions when I come to use it in anger but I couldn't even get started before without this kickstarter help.

Similar future things might include beginning 3D design for RepRaps - e.g. my Raspberry Pi camera board turned up today, 5MP/1080P but just a loose board on the end of a ribbon, so naturally predisposed to shooting video of my ceiling if I don't hold it up, could maybe do with a bracket or enclosure or something to secure it on top of my pan/tilt servo assembly, without RepRaps my options are Meccano, Blu-tack, or to hand-squish some Polymorph into a shape that looks like I hand-squished it.

I did send a Google Drive link to Nathan earlier, but in any case will have PDFs available next Weds on USB flash drive.

I didn't realise how busy I'd be and so I haven't got the boards made yet. Sorry. I'll try to get them done for next week.

A friend really wants me to meet someone who is visiting York. Tonight typically! Makes this a whiff I am afraid.

Hopefully will be about next week.
