It doesn't seem (yet) possible to import Pages and/or Numbers
documents into Yojimbo (short of saving it as a PDF file). Would
anyone know of a work-around or script?

Thanks in advance.

You can store any file in Yojimbo by attaching it to a note. Create a
new note and drag the item to it. However, all you'll get is an
icon--you won't even get the filename or any details about the file.

'Print to PDF' and then 'Save PDF to Yojimbo' in the print dialog does
it in very few steps. I can't imagine that a script will be more
efficient.

Hello,
you can add any file to the brand new note. But unsupported files will
be represented as an icon only. When you click on the item nothing
will happen.
You have to than export this note or drag it to the Desktop. On the
Desktop you will see nazwapliku.rtfd. This is a package and when you
option+click on this file and go to Show Packege Content you'll see
all your files inside. But I am not sure that this kind of files are
cross platform?!

Undoubtedly, the quickest/simplest way to get a Pages document
into Yojimbo will be to use Save PDF to Yojimbo from the Print
dialog. This is really no different than saving as PDF and then
adding the saved PDF file to Yojimbo with respect to the end
result. It is just more efficient.

Of course, when you do this you will not be able to easily get
back from Yojimbo a document you can edit with Pages. A Pages
document is not actually a single file. Instead it is a package
containing several files. So, trying to save something in
Yojimbo that can later be exported to Pages as an editable
document will definitely require some non-trivial scripting.

I haven't used Numbers yet. But I suspect the comments above for
Pages will apply to Numbers as well.
