Just got an iPad last month and eagerly installed Yojimbo on it.
Unfortunately it does not support editing of notes on the iPad. I have
hundreds of notes and currently use an old Palm Treo as my phone and I
can edit notes on it, works great. Does anyone know if editing notes
on the iPad is on the roadmap to be added to the app?

Thanks, Shaun

LOL. You said "roadmap."

You can't edit notes on Yojimbo for iPad. Come the end of June, you
won't be able to sync notes there, either.

Let's hope there's a solution before then. BareBones says it's on the
way, but I've quit using Yojimbo for now because it can't sync for
anyone who uses iCloud. With no ETA or anything to test, this forced
me to move away from it.

Sad, isn't it? Customers aren't asking much in wanting to know when --
or even if -- Yojimbo for Mac and iPad are ever going to be updated to
address some pretty serious and very outstanding shortcomings.

I bought Yojimbo for iPad with the hopes that such refinements would
come soon. That hasn't happened. Instead, I have an app that won't let
me edit and is also rendered practically unusable in situations where
there is no wifi, due to an apparent bug in how the app can't stop
looking for a local database to connect to.

Much time has passed since iCloud was announced and launched. That
there has been no substantive update from BB to address this to date
is really disappointing.

I'm in the same boat as you. And it breaks my heart to say that.
Yojimbo has so many good things going for it.

But responsive developer support, regular, necessary updates and bug
fixes are not among them. Looks like Evernote will be getting my
business. Albeit reluctantly.

The latter issue will be corrected in the next update.

As I've posted, we are working on iCloud support; please see:

Looks like there are others in the same boat. I was completely
unaware of the iCloud issue until Bill mentioned it. I'm playing with
Evernote for putting notes onto the iPad, but I'll stick around and
see what BB come up with.

But are there any plans to add note editing directly on the iPad? Would this be one of the perks when iCloud is supported for syncing?

Please count this as bumped!  I also am really looking for at least the basic ability to edit a note and add a web bookmark on the iPad. I understand a fully functional editing, in all it's glory would be a great deal of work. But how about some basic editing abilities on the iPad.

Remember, the best is the enemy of the good.
