Encryption & sync failure.

This morning I made a new note at home, and immediately encrypted it.
At work, when I opened yojimbo about two hours later, the note was
there, but not encrypted.
My home machine did not perform a sync in the half-a-second it took me
to paste the contents of the note and click on the encrypt
button...so, somehow Yojimbo sync'd something in the clear that should
have been encrypted.
A second note had an even more peculiar transition take place - it was
encrypted at home, at work it was not encrypted, and after a sync
(what must have been the second or third sync since this note was
added) the "encrypted bit" somehow was set, so when I opened Yojimbo
again it suddenly was encrypted, having not been on an earlier opening
of the application.
Anyone else seen this or know a way to make sure it does not happen?

as partial syncing.
On my laptop I put in a serial item into Yojimbo. I did a sync and the
item showed up in my Yojimbo on my home Mac but only the name of the
product in the record came through. The serial number field was blank.
I sync'd on both sides, added a comment in the note field and sync'd
again. The note did not show up.
What's the deal? Does sync just not work with Yojimbo?
