I have been trying to insert a URL Hyperlink into a Note.
When in "Edit Mode" on a Note a Menu Item named "Add Hypberlink"
becomes available under the Edit Menu.
When I choose this item a dialogue box pops up asking you to insert an
Internet URL. I enter a valid URL and close the dialogue box by saying
OK.
Nothing appears in my note, no hyperlink is inserted.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Note:
I am still using a "Demo" copy of the software but I would not think
this should make a difference.
I am using a 24" 2.8 Ghz iMac with 2 GB of Memory.
PS
I have also been trying to explore another item posted on the Web that
says you can make references to files by prefixing the file path with
“file://”.

Unless you have some text selected before invoking this command, the hyperlink won't be anchored to anything and thus won't be visible.
Try this:
Type in "Apple", then select it, choose "Add Hyperlink", type "http://www.apple.com" in the link dialog, and click OK. The word "Apple" should now have an active link to that location.

You can indeed do so, and here's a (hopefully :-) useful tip:
Just drop a file or folder into the "Add Hyperlink" dialog and Yojimbo will insert the file URL for that item.

Select the target item in Yojimbo then select Edit | Copy Item Link.
You can then paste the link into a new Note (or presumably the
comments section, though I haven't tried).
