Reminder: New Haven All-Day Singing

Dear friends of the Yale-New Haven Regular Singing,

I just want to remind you all once more about the upcoming New Haven All-Day Singing, which will take place on Sunday April 15 in the Faculty Room, Connecticut Hall, Yale University.

As hosts, it's up to us to provide good singing and warm hospitality (including lots of good food!) for our out-of-town guests, and there will be plenty of them.  I hope many of you will be able to come and sing and share this special day with us.  

If you are able to offer a bed or other horizontal surface to a visiting singer, please let me know -- as housing coordinator, it's my job to ensure that anybody who wants a place to stay has one.  We can handle anything from a sofa in a dorm common room to a king-size bed with ensuite bathroom, so don't hesitate to let me know if you're willing to put somebody up.

I'll be in touch again closer to the time of the singing to remind you of tasks you can volunteer for (manning the registration table, helping the food committee, and setup/cleanup) and things you'd be welcome to bring (jugs of coffee and pretty much anything folks can eat or drink, hard candies or cough drops, loaner books), but it's never too early to start thinking about what you can bring.
