• Provide a place to garden for people who do not own or have access to private land suitable for gardening; • Provide education and hands-on experience in the creation and maintenance of an environmentally sustainable, organic garden in a northern environment; • Provide fresh, nutritious, organic, relatively inexpensive, locally grown vegetables, herbs and flowers; and • Assist in the food security needs of the whole community by providing food for people in need through donations to local charities.
To become a garden member, you need to sign the "Application to Garden and Waiver" below and bring them, along with payment, to the Annual Spring Social Event. For information about the date and time of the Spring Social please download the latest newsletter or email the garden at yellowknife.garden@gmail.com.
