API usage with affiliate ID

We have direct relationship with few deal providers and like to use our affiliateID to monetize the traffic generated from our app. We're having difficulty in understanding how the pass through will work, what info do we need to supply in the API call?. The API documentation doesn't provide much detail or sample for this. Can anyone from the Yipit team respond?

Dileep,

The Yipit system will append your affiliate credentials to the URLs provided via the API once you have configured your account with the relevant affiliate information. 

You can do this here, http://yipit.com/about/api/aff/. 

Just make sure that you are logged into Yipit using the account associated with your Yipit API key.
