YEIDA Court Case!!

Would request the concerned person in YERWA MC or ex-MC to update on the following aspects :

 

1) Has the hearing begun. If not, when is it scheduled to begin ?

2) Has a lawyer been finalised from YERWA to represent our case ?

 

In the interim of new MC being elected, has any arrangements been made to attend the hearing if it starts ?

 

The background is todayz NCRPB report  in TOI which has fuelled a rumor about some stay on YEIDA plots.

Dear Mr. Myne,

 

As stated earlier... whenever any information is received regarding NCRPB approvals and court cases at Allahabad High Court, by farmers of the area... shall be updated on YERWA Google Group.

 

However, for now I can inform you that the incoming MC will make all the decisions regarding how to represent plot buyer’s interest during the court cases.

Dear Safalji,

 

The hearings had already begun before court vacations. Infact on 2nd July there has also been an hearing on villages of Mirzapur, Usmanpur, Niloni & Karelibhav.

 

Pankaj Dubey is the advocate on the majority of cases representing farmers.

 

Kindly, as an exception, pls let us know if any lawyer has been appointed, as the hearings are clearly underway.

Dear Mr. Myne,

 

I too have read the article published in a Hindi newspaper yesterday. All I can tell at this point of time is the cases filed by 4 farmers is not part of the cases being consolidated by the Allahabad High Court. Those cases too will come to hearing soon. To the best of my information, roughly 800+ cases has been filed by the farmers since July last years... awaiting for hearing.

In case that case, would request you to find out a way to represent in the cases of theese villages as they are impacting both Sec 18 & 20.

 

From your reply, I am assuming that currently there is no lawyer on retention.

 

Secondly, would request you to use your considerable resources to reperesent to the YEIDA authorities to open up transfer of plots.
