Dear All,

As scheduled earlier... the combined meeting of tri authorities took place today. During the meeting two significant decisions were taken regarding “Transfer of Allotment Rights” at government plots at Yamuna Expressway.

1. No transfer-of-allotment-rights of plots wherein ATL has been executed will be allowed. The owners will be able to sell the plots only after they take the possession, sign lease deed and register the property.

2. No decision was taken wherein transfer-of-allotment-rights of plot without ATL is concerned. There were some technical issues (Clearance of YEIDA Master Plan 2031 by NCRPB, etc) and the decision regarding the same will be taken during the next meeting.

In short, now onwards... the demand for plots with ATL is expected to fall further, whereas, the demand for plot without ATL will either remain as it is or might even increase in the future. Also, till the next meeting... the sale and purchase of plots in Sector 18 and Sector 20 is expected to continue via execution and registration of “Agreement-To-Sell”, “General-Power-of-Attorney” and “WILL”.

Regards,

Safal Suri

Now I understand why the phrase " Throwing the baby with the bathwater" was coined. Otherwise very diffcult to express in words the step of the authority.

You cannot get people to do ATL, so screw the ones who had done ATL. I bet even ATL plots can be sold/bought with some karcha paani. This is Jugaad economy.

Safal,
On the dot as ever , would you please throw some light on the following.

A. Legal situation: Cases are still being compiled. Hearing expected to start anytime.

B. Enhanced compensation: No information. The decision will be of the courts. That will be after hearing of the cases.

C. Sectoral Development: So far the work continues. However, once the hearing starts, the court may put a stay on all on going developments till the cases are decided.

D. MC plan for Courts or Authority matters: That will be decided by the NEW MANAGING COMMITTEE.

Thanks and Regards

Safal,

I don't know what we would do without you!!

In your reply given below, you have said that Sector Development work is continuing. Is that really the case? Didn't the farmers get YEIDA to stop this work? I want to know this because if NE could get the court's go ahead because development work had already taken place in that area, the same would probably apply to YEIDA plots, the courts' 'wisdom' notwithstanding!!
