Subject: user setting to change redirection.
Hi.
I have an idea for feature.
Nonexistent Yeah Way commands are redirected to Google Search.
But what if users are given an option to change Google Search to
something else?
Some user might prefer Yahoo to Google.
As for me, I would want nonexistent commands to be redirected to Yubnub.

That idea is on my to-do list!  It shouldn't be too hard, I'll see if
I can get it done in the next week or so.

Thanks!
Allen

Done!

Check out the new command 'defaultcommand':
http://yeahway.com/command/defaultcommand/

Let me know if it doesn't work as expected.

How about being able to override the default command when not logged
in, with a hidden field in a form?
This becomes useful when trying to replace an existing search field on
a web page, with a more powerful yet upward compatable yeahway one.

It would also be pretty cool to replace a search box on your home
page, which searches, yeahway,  then yubnub and then google, without
needing to be logged in.

Good idea. Done!

You should be able to create a hidden field named 'default_command'
with the name of the desired command as the value. Just for reference,
that should produce a query something like this:
http://yeahway.com/parser/run.php?default_command=YIM&query=WOLVERINE

If the user is logged-in, the personal default command will take
precedence over this.

Awesome.  hidden field with a default command works great.

BTW I noticed running  "man yubnub"  causes a server error.
