Hello everyone, and thank you very much for joining the Dynamic Coalition meeting yesterday!

Concerning all the project planning we already started, please do remember to contact others asap so we can get things rolling. No need to wait for next year to start organising something. :)

We should now work on a statement for the Main Session: Taking Stock and the Way Forward that takes place in Conference Room 2 at 14.30 onwards. For this, I think we'll have need to set the deadline to 13 o'clock, to make sure we have time to edit/polish and perhaps even print and make sure we can reserve a speaking position in the session.  Maybe 14 o'clock will do, don't count on it.

So, if there's anything you would like to contribute to the statement (that shouldn't be horribly long and boring), please head to http://piratepad.net/ycigigf11 and start typing! Bullet points are enough, others (like me) can do the connecting work. I'll be actively working on it at least from now till 10.30 and then as much as I can while participating in another event.

Hello all,

You can find the final statement at http://piratepad.net/ep/pad/view/ycigigf11/RmEdVBY7T8 - whilst there wasn't the chance to share it in full in the session, we can post it up on the blog shortly - and submit it as part of reports to IGF.

Many thanks must go to Joonas for making this happen and working throughout this years IGF to ensure the YCIG was active. Can I offer Joonas thanks on behalf of all of us.

The IGF main sessions may have just ended, but the real work now begins of feeding back to groups at home, thinking about regional events and follow up, and putting the dates of the open consultations and workshop proposal deadlines in your diaries.

If you are new to this list, please do also introduce yourself - and throughout the coming year you can make use of this list to share any news, questions, ideas etc. you have.

All best wishes

Tim

Hello everyone,

Thanks for a good job done in Nairobi!

My name is Gameli Adzaho, a Ghanaian science teacher, tech enthusiast and blogger.

I joined this mailing list sometime before the IGF  because I was hoping to participate directly in the youth dynamic coalition. However this week, my classes and the organisation regimen of Python African Tour, Kumasi Workshop did not allow me to be so active.

I'm interested in the IG debate in general and specifically interested in IG4D, access and social networks/media. I had the opportunity in participating in Youth and Internet Governance Issues panel of Ghana IGF last March, and it was a great intro to the IGF process.

I hope to be an active member of this list and look forward to collaborations with members of this wonderful group.

Cheers
