KNOCK KNOCK : IGF 2013 Workshops

Hi guys,
It is that time of the year again (though this time its a bit early)

MAG Recently made a call for workshops. This time round the format has
changed and there shall be preliminary proposals. Do note that the
deadline to submit preliminary proposals is 22 March for those who
organized workshops at the 2011 and 2012 IGFs, and that for new
comers, there is a later deadline of 30 April.
Is anyone organising/planning to organise a workshop? Do you need
help? Happy to.

Hi All,

This list has been pretty quiet since last IGF. Yet the IGF Bali has already opened the meeting application.

Wonder if we have already submitted something on about YCIG meeting per the below opening?

Last year the YCIG meeting has been scheduled on the last day which I think it was pretty late and some of the youth groups might have already left. Seems it would be great if we can try to get an earlier time slot with the secretariat.

Shall we try to plan ahead this year and come up with some agenda/directions before the meeting?

We the NetMission Ambassadors (College students) and NetY Ambassadors (Secondary Students) from Hong Kong will be there. Anyone else on this list is planning to go as well?

Dynamic Coalitions
During the IGF 2013, Dynamic Coalitions will be provided with a space to meet and to further develop their efforts. Meetings of Dynamic Coalitions should not be workshops. They should be Action Oriented and make an effort to ensure that a broad range of stakeholders can bring their expertise to the discussions. Only active Dynamic Coalitions can request for a meeting slot. Upon request, a group that wishes to form a new Dynamic Coalition may submit a proposal to the IGF Secretariat for a meeting slot. You can find the requirements for formulating a Dynamic Coalition here.
To submit a request to hold a Dynamic Coalition meeting during the IGF 2013, please register or login here. The deadline for submitting a Dynamic Coalition meeting request is 30 June 2013.
