A colleague of mine at Cornell, Carolyn Krupski (CCed), is submitting a workshop proposal today and she is still looking for participants. As you can see in the attachment, the workshop is about inequalities in social networks.
If you are interested in participating, please write directly to Carolyn.
The deadline for submitting proposals is today, so your quick response will be highly appreciated.

@Joonas well you should act quickly and send the proposal to the list, the deadline is today :)
@carolyn if I can make suggestion, I checked quickly the proposal and I think that will be problematic to have almost all panelists from the same country, the gender, geographical , stakeholder balance are important criteria for selection . I think that even you cannot find speakers now, you can just put like "activist from Europe" and so on , same for organizers, multistakeholder aspect is important for MAG, they are really sensitive to that . I also think that you need to appoint a remote moderator too. names of speakers and participants can be changed later.

Referring back to earlier emails, we NetMission Ambassadors planned to have a workshop on Youth Participation as well and get together perspectives from different regions. Therefore we would also like to invite members of the YCIG to join our discussion!
Please find below the brief details of our workshop:
Title: Defining the Successful Factors of Different Models for Youth Participation in Internet Governance
With the introduction of various programs and approaches for Youth Participation in the past IGF workshops, now is the time to evaluate the effectiveness of them and how they have or have not be able to enlightened or created a youth Internet leader. In short, our proposed workshop aims to map out a set of common factors of the successful models from different region by real case sharing and discussion. To develop a guidebook from the collaborative ideas based on the experiences around the world is our ultimate goal. Our focus on the practical sustainability of youth participation sets us apart from other conventional youth engagement workshop.
Please refer to the attached proposal for more details. If you are interested to join us as well, please let me know.
Thank you very much.
BR, Yannis

Yannis and Carolyn: I'd be glad to join both discussions. :) (I hope I could get some people from Asia and America to participate in my proposals, then. ;))
