Using Yakindu as a visual modelling too for agent design, but if i add a choice, the default path is always followed even if another one is true.

Hi,

this is a known bug that is already fixed and will be published with the 2.1 release next week.

So far you have to reorder the choices transition manually. To do so select the choice and then choose 'Show Properties View' . In the 'Model' tab of the properties view select the default transition and move it down to the bottom (see attached screenshot).

Regards,
Axel

Hi,

Just not to open another post.

What is the intended behavior of a Choice when it is used as a choice of the entry point in a region?

Currently on my test it is not working. When I'm simulating none of the squares gets red... is it normal?

Thanks
Ruben

Hi Ruben,

can you attach an image of your model?

Best regards,

Andreas

Hi again,

Also I realized there is another small bug. Look at this diagram. You see the conditional start point on the first region? I believe that is illegal and it is allowing it, and actually if I drag and drop the initial point onto a bit more on the left, it shows up the warning.

Ruben

Hi Rubén,

choices after entries not supported yet. Nevertheless it is an existing feature request and will  likely be part of maintenance release 2.1.1.

Best regards,
Axel

Hi Rubén,

you are right -  trigger and guards are not allowed on entry transitions. As you wrote there is also an error marker and it will also be visible in the Problem and 'Project Explorer' views. Sadly the error marker is always placed on the top right corner and was outside the clipping area of the region.

Regards,
Axel
