I don't know what happened to my first post of this.  It has disappeared.

The documentation indicates that for after and always the units are optional.  I have found they are required.

It would also be useful for these to take a variable for the time rather than a constant.

In many cases I have found that I need to be able to configure these to fit the machine characteristics.  The units would still be needed in order to avoid introducing floating point into the statechart.  As it is these constructs are pretty much useless for my purposes, I have to re-invent alternatives.

Hello Robert,

hope that does not happen often...

Yes - we made the unit mandatory some time before. I fixed the documentation. It will be in place with the next update. By the way - it is 'after' and 'every', 'always' does not take any arguments.

It would also be useful for these to take a variable for the time rather than a constant.

It is already possible. You can even use complete expressions like 'after x + y * 2 s'. The current restriction is that it has to be an integer expression.

Regards,
Axel
